Empowering Every Child, Building a Better Tomorrow!
What We Do
At King’s Guidance Resource Centre (KGRC), we provide education for children at pre-school, kindergarten, elementary, and secondary levels. We focus on inclusive and holistic learning — combining formal, informal, and non-formal education to meet the needs of each child.
Our goal is not only to educate minds but also to shape hearts. We believe, like Martin Luther King Jr., that
“Intelligence plus character — that is the goal of true education.”
With dedicated staff and volunteers, we aim to nurture positive, peace-loving individuals who will contribute meaningfully to society — socially, morally, and economically.
Programs & Curriculum
We offer a well-rounded educational approach through:
- Formal Education
Structured learning based on a graded syllabus, in line with current education systems.
- Informal Education
Real-life skills and values taught through hands-on experiences, technology, and positive daily interactions.
- Non-Formal Education
Organized learning outside the classroom, such as clubs, workshops, and community-based activities.
At KGRC, we are committed to helping each child grow academically, personally, and socially — because every child deserves the chance to thrive.
IMpact Stories & COllaborations
Our Collaborations
At King’s Guidance Resource Centre (KGRC), we believe that true education happens not only within the classroom but through the power of community collaboration. Our mission to support stateless and marginalized children has been made possible through the generosity, partnership, and dedication of many individuals and organizations
Recent Partnerships Include:
- Training & Workshops
We have attended and collaborated with various NGOs and ALCs for Student Workshops and Teachers Trainings. These session equip not only our Students with practical skills that complement classroom lessons, but also allows our Teachers opportunities to learn new lessons and better ways to educate our students. - Community Health Events
Recognizing the vulnerability of many stateless and migrant children to basic health issues, we have collaborated with NGOs and Other ALCs to host community health events that provide basic Medical Care to Students & Parents. - Sports Day & Parent Awareness Workshop
From Sports Days to Workshops for Parents, we’ve collaborated with church groups and NGOs to foster harmony and educate the community.
Impact Stories:
Here are just a few glimpses into how lives are being changed through your support:
📚 Building a Love for Reading
Through the help of Calls Over Ridges, a library corner was setup. Children now spend time flipping through books, learning new words, and exploring stories they’ve never heard before — a small step that’s already building a strong foundation in literacy. Because of this one of our young students who arrived barely speaking is now reading aloud confidently and actively participates in class. The addition of the Library Corner has help him in his educational journey.
